PokerStars SCOOP 2021 kicks off April 4

The PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) is up pretty soon with $100 million in guaranteed prizes for grabs across 102 events starting April 4^th.

SCOOP will run from April 4 to 28, 2021, and there is plenty on offer for any type of player with traditional Low, Medium and High buy-in levels. An investment of as little as $2.20 will have you participate in event already while the $25,000 Super High Roller has the highest buy-in

There will be six Main Events this year, with first cards being dealt on April 25, and awarding over $15 million between them:

• $10,300 No Limit Hold’em 8-Max Main Event High – $5M GTD
• $1,050 No Limit Hold’em 8-Max Main Event Medium – $5M GTD
• $109 No Limit Hold’em 8-Max Main Event Low – $3M GTD
• $10,300 Pot Limit Omaha 6-Max Main Event High – $1.25M GTD
• $1,050 Pot Limit Omaha 6-Max Main Event Medium – $750K GTD
• $109 Pot Limit Omaha 6-Max Main Event Low – $350K GTD

Last year’s “Alexgirs” took down the SCOOP $10,300 Main Event (High) for $920,596.

According to Severin Rasset, Managing Director & Commercial Officer, Poker, Product and Innovation, “SCOOP is a series that our community really look forward to and plan for, so we’re excited to share the full schedule, a huge guarantee, and all of the promotions and giveaways we are holding to reward our players,”

He added:

“We’ve ensured that players of all levels have a way in to this well-loved series and have added lots of extra value and more ways to win. And to give players a break from a busy online series schedule and for those competing in the SCOOP Player of the Series race, we will not run official SCOOP events on Fridays.”

This year’s SCOOP will see four leaderboards with $100,000 in additional prizes for the Low, Medium and High events. There will also be Player of the Series award.

There are a couple of ways to get into a SCOOP event apart from buying-in directly.

There are several Satellites running daily while there are the ‘familiar’ $4 and $22 Spin & Go’s with SCOOP tickets included lined up.

The PokerStars Ticket Machine will offer some tickets and there is another way by working your way through the SCOOP Fast Track tournaments, basically some form of what was previously known as ‘Steps’ qualifiers.

Lastl, but not least, for the female poker players, the $22 buy-in Women’s Sunday on April 4 will also have some SCOOP tickets on offer.
