Five card draw game structure

Five card draw is as it states in the name a draw game, so there are no community cards in the form of a flop, turn and river. Every player gets five closed cards. The player left of the big blind acts first then the player left of him clockwise over the table until the betting is finished. After the round of betting, players can draw cards. Every player selects which card(s) he wants to discard and which he wants to keep in his hand.You can also choose to keep all your cards, when everybody has discarded cards the round is over. If there are still players active after the first betting round and draw, there is another round of betting, beginning with the player left of the button. Sometimes it is possible that in draw games there are more cards needed then are in the deck, in this case the deck is reshuffeled and play continues with the new deck.

Purpose of the game

The player with the best five card hand wins the pot. Best hand is royal flush after that straight flush continuing just Like texas Holdem hand rankings. If two players have the same hand the pot will be split just like in Hold’em.
