Omaha game structure

In Omaha, the button is used to show the players who is the dealer in that round of the game. First the blinds are posted and after that the action will start, the player left from the button posts half a small blind ( for example $0.50 in a $1/$2 game) and the player left from him posts a small bet which in this case is $1. After this all players get four face down cards. The player after the big blind is first to act and can start the action up.

Now the flop is dealt on the board. Three community cards that can be used by all active players. Play starts with the first active player to the left of the big blind. Players can bet and raise in small bets ($1 in our example). When the betting and raising action is over.

The turn is dealt as a fourth community card. The order in which players can act is the same, but there is an inrease in betting size, players can now use a big bet to bet or raise ($2 in our example). When betting action is completed for the turn round, the “river” is dealt face-up on the board.

The river is the fifth and final community card in Omaha poker. Betting begins with the active player immediately clockwise the button.

This is like regular Omaha but with Pot limit rules, no cap on the number of raises. But the maximum players can bet in total, is the pot at that moment plus the money on the table. The minimum raise is 2 times the bet made by your opponent.

Hi/Lo

In this version of Omaha, the pot is divided into a high hand and a low hand, the pot is also divided into half for the high and half for the low hand. When players have the same low or high hands the pot will be equally divided between these hands. If there is no qualifier for the low hand the high hand takes the whole pot.
