WSOP.com ups the ante on promo race

Share

WSOP.com, the second legal and regulated Nevada online poker room, has announced its new and very improved promotion plan which many consider an attempt at luring Ultimate Poker grinders. The poker room has permanently increased the loyalty points earned in the Action Club. Players on most tiers will now be able to earn more rakeback than before.

Players who currently are at the silver level earning points at a 1 to 1 level will now get a 4x multiplier for Action Poker Points. Players at the max level, or Seven Stars, will now get a 15x multiplier. An increase from the previous 10x.

With the new promo program the maximum rakeback available is 30%, an increase from the previous 20%. This is without counting the deposit bonuses and other seasonal promotions running. On top of all this, WSOP.com has also announced they will from now and until December, give players who move to the room the same VIP level they had in their previous room.

WSOP.com is still lagging behind Ultimate Poker when it comes to weekly ring game traffic but it seems they will overtake Ultimate Poker as early as next week.
