The Asian Poker Tour (APT) is setting the stage for another ambitious event with the announcement of the APT Taipei Poker Classic. Scheduled from September 27 to October 7, 2024, this tournament series aims to elevate Taipei’s status in the international poker community. Held at two of Taipei’s premier venues, the CTP Asia Poker Arena and the CML, this festival is a collaboration with the Chinese Texas Hold’em Poker Club (CTP). It builds on the monumental success of APT Taipei 2024, previously the largest poker series in Taiwan.
The APT Taipei Poker Classic promises a full roster of events, each designed to challenge and excite participants. With more than TWD 150 million (approximately USD 4.6 million) in total prize guarantees, the festival is poised to draw poker players from all corners of the globe. The pinnacle of the series, the APT Main Event, will uphold its reputation with a TWD 65 million (around USD 2 million) prize pool guarantee at the established buy-in of TWD 50,000.

With its varied offerings, the APT Taipei Poker Classic aims not just to replicate its previous successes but to create a lasting legacy in the poker world, reinforcing its reputation as a premier event on both the Asian (and perhaps a global poker tour circuit?).
In two weeks time, APT is landing on Jeju, for its first tournament series on the island, offering a USD 1.5 M Main Event.
