Liv Boeree, British poker pro and sponsored Pokerstars player, is going to feature in a new program series that will be running globally on the Discovery channel. The show will start off with 10 episodes of around 30 minutes in length and begin airing next month, according to Cardplayer.com.
The show has been named “The Mind Control Freaks” and is about different psychological techniques such as peer pressure, obedience, hypnosis and conformity can affect people. There will be four experts trying out the different techniques, to ensure that the experience will be as authentic as possible.
“The Mind Control Freaks is an exciting new series for us which plays in a new space for Discovery Channel,” Executive for Discovery Network, Sarah Davies stated and continued:
