A first-time punter scoops £6.3million from a £4 bet

A lucky gambler has won a whopping £6.3 million from £4 bet in his first time at an online casino. Neil, from Aberdeen, had put £30 into his newly-opened account with Casumo, and used £4 of it on a spin on the Hall of Gods game to win a huge jackpot.

Neil, who was playing the game on a laptop in his kitchen, could not believe his luck as he hit the multi-million bonanza. The excitement took him a while to realise he has won. He called his wife to check in to confirm the winning. Once it had sunk in, he called his parents to told the parents about it.

A Liverpool fan, Neil said that he would buy himself a season ticket or a box to watch his favourite football team at home. Among other things, he wants to buy parents a holiday home in Tenerife, take his children to Disney World and visit his sister in Australia. Neil also told reporters that he would also donate some of his winnings to the MacMillan Cancer Research.

This is one of the biggest wins recorded at Casumo online casino, although falling short of the highest pay out record. The largest jackpot Casumo has ever paid out is an incredible €7,820,888 (around £6.7 million). The scoop by Neil is the fifth multi-million-pound jackpot to be won on the site this year.

Danny Rahim, a spokesperson for Casumo.com, commented on the unbelievable scoop of £6.3 million, saying it is truly a life-changing sum and Casumo is glad that the jackpot has found its way to a good home

Hall of Gods is a Nordic-inspired game which borrows heavily from Saxon and Viking mythology. The gods are pitted against the Midgard Serpent, a demonic dragon, which must be defeated with the mythical weapons. The game features three progressive jackpots – the Mini, Midi and Mega prizes.
