The computarized eyewear device able to shoot pictures, film videos and browse the internet, Google Glasses, is being forbiden in various casinos in the U.S. as regulators consider that the gadget can be used for cheating.

Atlantic City’s 12 casinos received a direct order from The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement to ban the device in their facilities and similar regulations are to be applied to casinos in Las Vegas, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Connecticut.

Davis Rebuck, the division’s director stated that if the glasses were worn during a poker game, ” they could be used to broadcast a patron’s hand to a confederate or otherwise be used in a collusive manner”.
