In 2003, PayPal stopped supporting online gaming in the United States, even though it was one of the biggest transactors for online gaming sites at that time. A few onling gambling websites have started accepting PayPal as a payment method for online casinos.

In September of 2015, a couple of U.S. online gambling websites like DerbyGames.com and WSOP.com started to accept PayPal payments. The use of PayPal will make transactions way easier for gamblers, allowing them to instantly credit their account instead of waiting a couple of days for their check to arrive.
