Along with others, the LSLGA has warned MillionairePowerPlay, LottoMania, Firstbet, and Betfarm about operating illegally. With its action, the LSLGA declares all of these operators to be unapproved and unlawful to provide gaming services in Nigeria. Nigeria issued a remote operator authorization for operators with offshore licenses last year, enabling them to provide online gambling services without having a physical presence there. The several types of gambling covered by this remote operator permit include poker, bingo, slots, and casino games. It is especially advantageous for companies with existing licenses in other countries. The first payment for the five-year permit is $100,000, and there are further yearly costs of $50,000 for the next four years.
