Rafael Caiaffa, the winner of a bracelet in poker and a champion in Brazil, is currently in hot water in the BSOP Millions tournament in Sao Paulo. But camera footage eventually came to light, showing that he had hidden his first stack in his rucksack. Eduardo Silva, a different player, saw Caiaffa's effort to blend in with a second stack when he moved to a different table. Alarms were raised when Silva saw Caiaffa show up at the new table with an oddly augmented stack of one hundred and ten thousand chips. Devanir Campos, CEO of BSOP, verified the incident and said Caiaffa had inadvertently obtained an additional stack. As a result, he was quickly removed from the LAPT competition, and the BSOP series ban was applied without delay. Caiaffa was open about taking responsibility for his conduct and admitting that his sentence was right. After the punishment, he said to Marcelo Souza, editor of Card Player Brasil, "I don't take away my responsibility."
