Ahead of the 2025 Battle Court Winter season, the World Jai Alai League (WJAL) has announced a new agreement with Hard Rock Bet. Through this partnership, fans in Florida will be able to enjoy the fast-paced sport of Jai Alai while also having the option to wager and watch live matches via the Hard Rock Bet platform. From the operator’s center, fans may watch live streaming and place bets on WJAL events in real time.
Hard Rock Bet’s managing director, Nick Menas, shared his excitement about the partnership. “We’re excited to Roll with World Jai Alai League and the ‘world’s fastest ball sport’ on Hard Rock Bet,” he said. As Jai Alai has deep roots in Florida, Menas emphasized that the collaboration is a natural fit. “Jai Alai is part of the fabric of Florida sports culture, and as Florida’s sportsbook, we’re thrilled to be able to bring fans from throughout the state closer to the action on our top-rated platform.”
Hard Rock Bet users already have access to over 20 professional leagues for wagering, and now Jai Alai joins the list. In addition to online betting, Hard Rock sportsbooks at casinos operated by the Seminole Tribe of Florida will offer in-person betting options. This expansion strengthens Hard Rock’s presence in Florida’s sports betting landscape.
Scott Savin, WJAL’s COO, expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming season. “The start of a new season is always exhilarating, and the addition of wagering on Hard Rock Bet only adds to the sentiment that Winter 2025 will be our best season yet,” he remarked. “We’re excited to bring fans unparalleled action and engagement, both on and off the court.”
The 2025 Battle Court Winter season will feature broadcasts from the Magic City Fronton in Miami, starting January 20. The league will also see notable names involved, including former NFL star Ray Lewis and former NBA player Udonis Haslem as team owners. Popular recording artist Pitbull will return as an equity investor, further increasing the league’s star power.
