Indiana sportsbooks recorded $432.8 million in wagers during February, marking an increase of more than $32 million compared to the same month last year, according to the Indiana Gaming Commission.
Ameristar Casino and Blue Chip Casino led the market, accounting for more than half of all bets placed in the state. Ameristar reported $151.1 million in wagers, while Blue Chip Casino saw $133.7 million. Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg followed with $40.5 million in bets, securing the third spot for the month.
Taxable adjusted gross revenue for February reached $47.7 million, nearly $9 million higher than the previous year. Blue Chip Casino posted the highest monthly AGR at $19.1 million, while Ameristar recorded $17 million.
Sports betting tax revenue in Indiana totaled close to $4.5 million for the month. The state has had legal sports betting since September 2019, allowing both in-person and online wagers after former Gov. Eric Holcomb signed the regulatory bill into law.
