IC360 Joins Sleeper to Support Safer Fantasy Sports

Share

IC360 has formed a new partnership with Daily Fantasy Sports platform Sleeper to strengthen its compliance and responsible gaming efforts. The deal brings IC360’s ProhiBet system to Sleeper, giving the operator added tools to monitor and prevent rule violations.

Sleeper will now have access to real-time alerts that help identify individuals who may be restricted from joining paid contests, such as athletes and league officials. ProhiBet works by sharing encrypted data between systems, allowing operators to stay informed without exposing user details.

Matt Hagerty, Director of Legal Affairs at Sleeper, said, “Integrity and compliance are core to our platform, and we’re excited to partner with IC360 to integrate ProhiBet. This collaboration enhances our ability to prevent prohibited individuals from entering our paid entry contests and reinforces our commitment to a fair and responsible play environment.”

ProhiBet Integration Adds Compliance Tools

ProhiBet’s role in the partnership focuses on detecting and alerting operators when someone in a restricted group attempts to register or compete. By integrating it into Sleeper’s platform, the company aims to create stronger safeguards and reinforce fair play standards.

IC360’s Chief Operating Officer, Scott Sadin, said, “This partnership with Sleeper underscores IC360’s commitment to expanding the reach of ProhiBet across the sports and gaming ecosystem. By integrating ProhiBet, Sleeper is demonstrating its dedication to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and responsible gaming, ensuring a fair and enjoyable experience for all its users.”

Sleeper’s Presence and Restrictions in North America

Sleeper, founded in 2014 by Nan Wang, Henry Leung, Ken Wang, and Weixi Yen, has gained support from investors such as Andreessen Horowitz, General Catalyst, and Expa. Nan Wang currently serves as the company’s CEO.

The platform is available in several U.S. states, but availability depends on the game type. Sleeper’s Daily Draft feature operates in 30 states and Washington D.C., while its PicksVS product is permitted in 10 states plus Washington D.C.

In Canada, Sleeper is available except in Ontario, where regulatory restrictions limit peer-to-peer DFS games. A legal case is ongoing to determine whether DFS operators in the province can offer games that allow residents to compete with users in other jurisdictions.
