Patrick Antonius bags partypoker Millions Germany 25 000 High Roller event

Antonius Patrick has won €25,000 Super High Roller event of partypoker Millions Germany on Sunday. Held in King's Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic, the game recorded 51 entries with 14 of them being re-entries.

Antonius recorded a remarkable win in his first live tournament of the year, and this success brought him the sixth most significant tournament cash of his career. On being asked about the next game, he asserted, "I might play tomorrow's €25,000 Super High Roller or the Big Game." The Big Game is a live-streamed cash game which goes on for 36 hours and can be viewed on the partypoker Twitch channel.

The Finn managed to win the first trophy of the partypoker Millions festival and the first prize of whopping €425,000.

At the start of the day, many Germans came to play and took their seats at the table. Stefan Schillhabel was the first to get eliminated. King's Casino's owner Leon Tsoukernik busted when the nines of Vladimir Troyanovskiy out-powered his pocket sevens.  Another German who tried his luck was Koray Aldemir, but he got eliminated after pocket eights failed to beat Simao's pocket aces.

The event was supposed to be a 2-day event, but the schedule of the tournament changed, and the play continued until the final six players decided whether they wanted to continue or bag and tag.

In the end, the final table whittled down to final three players leaving Antonius, Joao Simao and Renato Nowak clashing for the big win. After winning a hand with pocket nines against Nowak, Antonius knocked-off Nowak and pushed him to third place. This left Antonius and Simao in heads-up play. Simao started the face-off with the chip-lead but eventually lost his lead giving Antonius a chance to make his move.

Partypoker affirmed, In the final hand, Simao's set of kings was beaten when Antonius rivered a straight with Queen-Jack. However, this event still fetched Simao's most significant live cash as he bagged €251,250 and finished as the runner-up of the game. His previous most significant cash came after he ended on fifth place in the High Roller during the partypoker MILLIONS in Nottingham with $ 106,428.
