The Global Poker Championships is set to start off in October with the Eagle Cup, an online tournament series. The tournament has 150 events scheduled with more than $1.25 million guaranteed in combined prizes.

The series is planned to start on October 2 and will run until October 30. The events are categorised under low, medium, high-stakes $weeps Cash tournaments (1 $weeps Cash= $1), and Gold Coin tournaments.

The competition offers a huge variety of poker games on its schedule, which includes Omaha along with hold’em, four-max, six-max, deep stack, rebuy, turbo, big ante, pot limit and limit.

The winner of the Eagle Cup not only walks away with the first prize and a new avatar but will also win a personalised trophy, Global Poker t-shirt and hat.

A player can also stand a chance to win additional $15,000 in added value prizes on the Eagle Cup leaderboard, also an opportunity to represent the Global Poker in a live event of choice; the Global Poker would sponsor the travel, entry fees and accommodation.
