16 events are set to run between March 3 and March 23 with $2.5million in guaranteed prize money, over double the prize money in 2020.
The Spring Classic Series will feature two tournaments with seven-figure guarantees. Event #10: NLH Championship will have a buy-in of $3,500 with a guaranteed prize-pool of $1 million.
Day 1a of the event kicks off on March 21 with 40,000 chips for each player and 60-minute blindlevels. Day 1b will be on March 13 with day 2 scheduled for March 14. The Final table will be on March 15 and play will continue until a winner will emerge.
The second $1 million-guaranteed event will take place on March 18. Event #15: No-Limit Hold’em has a buy-in of $1,600 with three starting days scheduled from March 18 – 20. Day 2 of the event will be on March 21. Final action is to take place on March 22.
Other events to watch out for in the upcoming Spring Classic Series include the $600 buy-in, $250,000 GTD NLH Kickoff on March 4, as well as three Survivor events taking place on March 3, March 10, and March 17, with up to $20,000 in guaranteed prizes.
For the high rollers there is a $10,500 buy-in NLH High Roller on March 11. Wynn will waive the $500 entry fee for the early birds. Super Satellites with a buy-in of $1,100 will also be running in order to qualify for the event.
Covid-19 safety protocols are in place during the event and players are reminded to observe these. Hand sanitizers are readily available throughout the room, poker table rails and all other high-traffic touch points, as well as playing cards and chips are cleaned and sanitized regularly. Everyone entering the room should be wearing a facemask. Facemasks will be required for each player at the table and there will be plexi-glass dividers between each player.
