Tonybet.com, the open-face Chinese poker site started by poker professional Tony G, announced today that they will be hosting the first live Open Face Chinese Poker World Championship this December in Prague, as a part of the Prague Poker Festival.
The event will host two Pineapple tournaments, the main event having a €1,000 buy-in and the High Roller having a €10,000 buy-in. The tournaments will be hosted at the King’s Casino at the Corinthia Hotel in Prague and is expected to be the biggest Open Face Chinese live tournament to date.
“Open Face Chinese poker is a fun and exciting game, which has grown incredibly fast. Being the biggest online Open Face Chinese poker site, we decided to seize the opportunity and provide some live action for our players. With the OFC community coming to Prague in December, this is the perfect time to host an OFC tournament and we are determined to host the biggest event in history” a Tonybet representative said in a press release.
“We also decided to run an ambitious €10,000 High Roller event, which was requested from some of our best players. We are expecting this tournament to attract some of the biggest players in the world and should show some of the best OFC play in the world” The representative added.
The tournament will also be used to celebrate the 1-year birthday of Tonybet, bringing even more excitement to the tournament. Players can qualify for the events online through freerolls and satellites.
