As a way to stregthen their postion in the online poker market, British gaming software Playtech, has acquired online poker site PokerStrategy.com for €38.3 million from Etruvian Holdings Ltd.
Playtech announced that last year, PokerStrategy.com’s profits before taxes was €19.5 million and a gross assets of €18.5 million. According to Playtech, these figures represent an enhaching earning opportunity. The group also have an online poker school and a player community.
