Pokerstars popular tournament series Micro Millions is nearing its end and that is being celebrated with the main event tonight at 20.30 CET. The tournament guarantees a massive $1 million in prizes to the players participating, which will bring a first prize of around 100K-125K – A decent amount when considered that the buy-in is only $22.
Last time Micro Millions were around was last year in November, where the main event was won by the Brazilian player “TheManM”, who, besides the honour, also won $126,000. He was or is by no means a professional player, showing that everyone can win a tournament with the right set of luck and good timing.
In order for the tournament to reach the guaranteed prize pool, there will need to be 50,000 players. This will not be a problem for Pokerstars though, as last year’s event had a massive 65,000 participating. Furthermore Pokerstars is well known for attracting huge crowds to their tournament series, so don’t expect an overlay today, but instead a massive overall prize pool.
