PokerGo revealed their plans for the World Series of Poker a few days ago.
The company also announced that it wants to take the features of official broadcasts to another level. They stated that it was doing whole lot more than ‘just the full feature broadcasts on their own dedicated streaming platform.’
They have teamed up with Twitch.tv, a popular live streaming platform widely popular among games and poker players.
Twitch would be bringing live coverage of over 25 final tables and 31 tournaments which would be broadcasted and live streamed from June 2 to July 14.
The viewers can catch all the live action twitch.tv/pokercentral and it would be embedded in PokerNews’ live reporting pages.
David Tuchman would feature as the lead commentator for the Twitch.tv streams with former poker pro and PokerNews podcast host, Jeff Platt.
Many poker personalities and poker pros would grace the booth as colour commentators as well.
“Our motive is to provide the highest quality poker content to our audience possible,” said Sam Simmons, vice president of content at Poker Central.
“We are really proud to work with our long-time partners at Twitch to produce and distribute additional coverage of the WSOP”
