Phil Hellmuth, one of the most if not most popular poker players around, recently fortified his record as the player with the highest number of WSOP bracelet wins by earning his 17th World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet. Although Hellmuth is infamous for his dramatic antics at the poker table earning him the ‘poker brat’ nick, he presents a significantly different persona outside the gambling scene, one of generosity, love and care.
Following his recent victory, Hellmuth took to Twitter to share a list of individuals to whom he has given his hard-fought bracelets. This gesture sheds light on a more compassionate side of the poker maestro, demonstrating his deep appreciation for his loved ones.
The lucky recipients include his parents, wife, siblings, children, and close friends.
The potential 18th bracelet has already been designated to Rick Thompson, should Hellmuth secure another win, he also said.
Regarding his future ambitions, responding to a question what’s next, Hellmuth revealed his aim to win a total of 24 WSOP gold bracelets, another 7 to be handed out to his loved ones.
