Pedro Neves Winner of WSOP Event #38: $1,500 MONSTER STACK No-Limit Hold’em

On June 20, Pedro Neves won his first World Series of Poker (WSOP) gold bracelet and a prize of $1,098,220. This win marks the second seven-figure prize in his poker career, pushing his total tournament earnings over $3.36 million. Earlier, in January 2023, Neves secured $1,183,037 at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure.

The $1,500 buy-in no-limit hold’em event saw an impressive turnout of 8,703 entries, thanks to three starting flights. This large participation generated a substantial prize pool of $11,618,005, with the top 1,307 players receiving a minimum cash of $3,001.

Before capturing his first WSOP bracelet, Pedro Neves was primarily recognized for his online achievements and his runner-up finish at the 2023 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, where he earned $1,183,037. Reflecting on his victory, Neves said, “This is completely different compared to PCA. I dreamed about the bracelet since I started watching poker when I was 14 or 15. It feels great.”
