Partypoker is all set to return with Millions online this year with the same huge amount of prize money which swept off previous poker records, Poker Industry PRO had reported. The tournament is slated to commence from late November to late December and it would be running for third consecutive year. The first edition of this online tournament took the centre stage in December 2017 which also featured a $5 million guaranteed prize pool. The tournament witnessed a field of 1,027 entries that gave $5,300 each for creating a $5,135,000 prize pool. This prize pool was shared among top 104 contestants.

Jon ‘sordykrd’ Van Fleet was the last player standing and he walked away with a whopping prize money of $1,027,000 after outplaying NO-|PTRI4|who walked away with $651,118 consolation prize. Partypoker then returned with an even bigger amount in 2018 with a guaranteed prize pool of $20 million. The reason why $20 million prize pool send ripples in the poker world was because it was the highest ever guarantee ever offered by any of the online poker tournament. The event gave a cut-throat competition to the PokerStars, which is partypoker’s rival and the numero uno online poker room with a wider audience reach. Moreover, the guarantee even exceeded by more than $1.8 million when 4,367 entries were processed after brand marketing and satellite schedule. Reports suggest that the buy-ins for thia year’s Millions Online will be around $10,300 while the live editions of the 2019 Millions Main Events have all featured buy-ins of 10,000. A Russian player who lives in Malaysia became the first recipient of the program benefit.
