Day three of the World Series of Poker Event #14, $1,500 Limit Omaha Hi-Low has just ended and we have found our winner of the tournament. Nick Kost beat a massive player pool of 1,036 players and made it to the top, where he beat Kal Raichura heads up for the title, bracelet and first price of $283,275.
Raichura was controlling the final table pretty well and had a decent chiplead over the rest when there was four players left. But when they ended heads up, he could see that his chiplead had been given to Kost, where it stayed for the rest of the tournament. Kost played some great heads up poker, taking a lot of small pots and constantly adding to his stack, making it difficult for Raichura to make a move.
The last hand of the day came in level 31, where blinds and limits were 100,000/200,000. Kost raises the button and gets a three bet from Raichura which he calls. The flop lands:
