Christpher Wallace Wins WSOP Event #22, $10,000 H.O.R.S.E Championship

The World Series of Poker Event #22, $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship has just finished and it was Christopher Wallace who came out on top, after playing against some of the most well known poker players in the world. A total of 200 players paid the $10,000 in buy-in to participate, creating a prize pool of $1,880,000 of which Wallace took $507,614 for his first place finish along with a gold WSOP bracelet.

It took three very long days of play before Wallace could crown himself a winner, with the final day lasting almost 14 hours before coming to an end. A total of 21 players reached the final day of play, but nobody could take down Wallace who won his very first WSOP gold bracelet and his biggest cash ever in a tour.

The final hand came after 14 hours of play, with Wallace playing heads up against Randy Ohel in the Stud 8 game of H.O.R.S.E. At this point Wallace had a 5 to 1 chiplead over Ohel and Wallace bets every single street in the final hand until Ohel eventually becomes all-in at the final street.

Wallace shows a full house and ships the title, the bracelet and $507,614, while Ohel has to settle for second place and $313,715, which still isn’t bad for three days of playing poker. You can see the rest of the final table payouts below:
