The video reveals an extensive design, featuring an 80-story tower that will house a casino and a 1,700-room hotel. The project envisions a vibrant area with a mix of amenities, including street-level shops and restaurants. Additionally, the plan includes office spaces, residential towers, and a sprawling 5.6-acre park named Hudson Green. This green space and other planned areas are intended to complement the surrounding Hudson River waterfront and enhance local roadways.
Related Companies CEO Jeff Blau emphasized the potential benefits of this major investment. He stated, “The next phase of Hudson Yards is a $12 billion investment in New York’s future that, if approved by City and State officials, will create tens of thousands of jobs, 1,500 units of housing including hundreds of new affordable apartments, and billions in much-needed revenue for the city and state.”
Notwithstanding the ambitious plan, there are many unknowns along the way to building the Hudson Yards casino.
