RealNetworks acquires Slingo for $15 million

The social casino developer, Slingo, has been acquired by the media firm RealNetwoks for $15.6 million. Slingo’s main IP, attracts more than 4.5 million users every month on Facebook through its slot machines and bingo games.

RealNetwork, also the developer for RealPlayer, announced the development of new game versions for Facebook, iOS and Android. Their CEO, Rob Glaser, said: “We are thrilled to have acquired Slingo, one of the most beloved products and brands in social casino gaming.”
