After CGC Technologies’ gaming license was recently revoked, PAGCOR took additional action by rescinding Sun Valley Clark’s provisional accreditation, another offshore gaming hub situated in Clark Freeport. After an interagency search on May 4, which resulted in a subsequent rescue operation, PAGCOR took action against Sun Valley Clark. The incidents involving CGC Technologies, which was present in six buildings within the hub despite PAGCOR having only allowed two of them, served as the impetus for the search. Sun Valley Clark had been suspected of being involved in illegal imprisonment, possible human trafficking, and participating in deceptive bitcoin investing practices.
The purpose of the offshore gaming hub is to provide operational, logistical, administrative, and support services to a variety of offshore gaming operators and service suppliers. This function is performed by Sun Valley Clark. The hub includes office and residential areas as well as a wide range of amenities, including dining options, supermarkets, grocery stores, and establishments for entertainment and wellness.
Chairman Tengco of PAGCOR took a firm stance, advising other offshore businesses operating in the Philippines to abstain from any illegal activity in order to keep their licenses.
