Nebraska’s four casinos collectively generated more than $29.1 million in gaming taxes throughout 2024, according to the Nebraska Gaming Commission. Taxes were sourced from WarHorse Gaming properties in Lincoln and Omaha, Grand Island Casino & Resort, and Harrah’s Columbus.

The collected taxes were divided among several funds, including the State General Fund, Compulsive Gamblers Assistance Fund, Property Tax Credit Cash Fund, and allocations for city and county governments. The Property Tax Credit Cash Fund received the largest share, securing nearly $20.4 million, providing significant relief for taxpayers.

WarHorse Gaming Lincoln emerged as the top contributor, delivering nearly $11.9 million in taxes. Grand Island Casino & Resort followed with close to $7.1 million, while WarHorse Gaming Omaha added approximately $6.6 million. Harrah’s Columbus, the newest addition, contributed just under $3.7 million after its full opening on May 17, 2024.
