With the development of a new $5 million outdoor slot patio, scheduled to open in the spring of 2025, Delaware Park Casino is planning to increase the scope of its offers. This comes after the casino’s interior had a major $10 million makeover earlier this year. Comfort and excitement are prioritized while the outside area seeks to improve the gaming experience.
The new 10,000-square-foot slot patio will feature over 250 slot machines, giving guests a chance to enjoy gaming in an open-air setting. Located next to the racetrack, the design is a collaboration between WATG-SOSH and DiSabatino Construction, with the project slated to finish by next spring.
Terry Glebocki, president and general manager of Delaware Park Casino, expressed enthusiasm for the project. “We look forward to offering Delaware’s largest outdoor slot patio,” said Glebocki. “Our guests will soon be able to enjoy the outdoors while playing the area’s best selection of slots, all without compromising comfort or excitement.”
The project not only enhances the casino’s offerings but also supports local employment. Jeff DiSabatino, VP of Construction at DiSabatino Construction, emphasized the partnership’s impact: “We are excited to partner with Delaware Park Casino on a project that will bring expanded services to patrons… creating and keeping jobs here in the First State.”
The new patio is just one of several developments aimed at boosting the guest experience at Delaware Park Casino. In addition, beginning on November 8, table games will operate 24/7, joining the casino’s already round-the-clock slot offerings.
