Bally’s Corporation Launches Free Shuttle Service to Boost Casino Bid in New York

Share

Bally’s Corporation is set to introduce a free shuttle bus service starting from October 1st, as part of its strategy to enhance its prospects of establishing a casino at the former Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point. The move comes as New York is in the process of issuing up to three casino licenses in the downstate region.

The “Bally’s Bus” will have a capacity of 20 passengers and will be wheelchair accessible. Operating from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM on weekdays (Monday to Friday), the shuttle will run on a loop approximately every 30 minutes.

Brian Crowell, General Manager of Bally’s Golf Links, expressed the company’s commitment to providing an enhanced experience for patrons and reinforcing its long-term dedication to the community. The shuttle service aims to address the transportation needs between the Ferry Point golf course and Bronx neighborhoods.

Bally’s Corporation is actively pursuing plans to expand its presence at the Ferry Point property by seeking a state license to establish a casino on-site. As part of this strategic move, Bally’s Corporation has engaged in discussions with elected officials and business leaders, who have emphasized the importance of improved transportation connectivity between the golf course property and the Bronx neighborhoods.

The 10-stop shuttle bus route will include the following stops:
