Andrew Robl Trains for Big MMA Prop Bet versus JC Alvarado

Share

Andrew Robl is planning to fight fellow poker pro JC Alvarado and unlike others he does not shy away from the cameras during his intense preparation. Lex ‘RaSZi’ Veldhuis and Betrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier worked towards their fight in secrecy but Alvarado has a slight idea of what’s coming this November when he’s taking on one of the most successful poker players of recent years. Robl puts up $34,000 to Alvarado’s $20,000 for a MMA fight which is bound to take place at the end of this year.

Robl, a 26-year old high stakes professional, granted us a chance to film and follow him during one of his training sessions at One Kick’s Gym in Las Vegas. During the video Robl explains how he prepares to knock Alvarado out. This year has been Robl’s most successful tournament poker year with a million dollar score during the Aussie Millions; yet winning this fight seems to be a much more important challenge.
