Pleading guilty in court yesterday might mean a period of twenty years in jail for member of the Gambino organized crime family and head of illegal sports betting operations.

Dean DePreta, who was arrested June 1, pleaded guilty before US District Judge Vanessa L Bryant in Connecticut, accepting he violated the federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO).

Him, alongside the 19 other members arrested, face the same accusations related to their participation in illegal gambling.
