Sportradar Group AG’s subsidiary, Sportradar, has been chosen as the successful bidder for the ATP data and betting streaming rights on a global level from 2024 onwards.
The selection process was initiated by Tennis Data Innovations (TDI) and attracted proposals from five bidders for the six-year rights cycle. Sportradar, a leading sports technology company, has been a supplier of official ATP Tour and Challenger Tour secondary data feeds since the beginning of 2022. Sportradar’s commitment to product innovation, advanced technology, and integrity services were all key factors in the selection process.
TDI, a specialist joint venture vehicle of ATP and ATP Media, was established in 2020 to oversee innovation, development, and commercial management of all data and betting streaming products for the ATP Tour and ATP Challenger Tour.
TDI CEO David Lampitt said that Sportradar was chosen as the best partner due to their combination of product capabilities, global reach, and innovative commercial model:
“We are grateful to all the bidders who showed such commitment to our content throughout the selection process. If we get this right, we will deliver great returns for the sport. The competitive nature of this process, as well as the compelling successful bid from Sportradar, reflects the incredible value of ATP content. We look forward to forging a successful partnership together.”
