With the introduction of his STAR10 coin, Brazilian soccer legend Ronaldo de Assis Moreira, better known as Ronaldinho Gaúcho, has made a comeback to the cryptocurrency market. Using social media to promote the launch, he emphasized that the token is a part of his legacy and signifies more than simply digital money.

Promoting STAR10, Ronaldinho shared a message with his followers: “It’s time to celebrate greatness, passion, and that legendary spirit that NEVER fades Legends are not born… THEY ARE FORGED. And YOU can choose to be a part of it.”

Although the token has some meme coin characteristics, Ronaldinho highlighted that it also provides real utility. He assured investors that STAR10 holders will gain access to exclusive perks, signed collectibles, and even an AI-powered digital agent designed to enhance the experience.

Security Fixes and Token Distribution

Initially, the project faced security concerns, which sparked criticism across social media. However, Ronaldinho’s team has since resolved these issues. To ensure stability, no team-owned tokens will be available for at least six months, with a gradual release schedule over two years. Ronaldinho and his team currently hold 35% of the total supply.

Ronaldinho has previously dabbled in bitcoin. He regularly shared links to the RSC soccer coin on his social media accounts in 2018, directly promoting it.

His name came to light more recently in relation to Omegapro, a potential pyramid scheme that allegedly impacted millions of investors globally. Ronaldinho also had to deal with a congressional investigation in Brazil for the use of his name in 18Kronaldinho, another purported scam. According to reports, investors in that project lost around $61 million. Ronaldinho denied any involvement at the time, claiming that his picture was used without his permission.
