PrizePicks Recreates Iconic NBA Ad for the Holidays

PrizePicks has launched a holiday-themed campaign featuring a new commercial and the return of its annual Picksmas giving event. The campaign highlights the playful side of NBA culture while rewarding fans with promotions throughout December.

The commercial, now airing nationwide and across social media, recreates the iconic 2013 NBA “Jingle Hoops” ad, which featured stars like LeBron James, Steph Curry, and Kevin Durant. PrizePicks’ version takes a comedic turn, starring social media personalities Druski, Joe Budden, and Spice Adams. Their humorous attempts to replicate the original ad add a lighthearted twist to the holiday spirit. Joe Budden shared his excitement about the experience, saying, “I’d like to thank my PrizePicks family for getting me back on a basketball court so many years after I retired from the game I love. I had a blast as we always do, I can’t believe I’ve gone my whole life without knowing how athletic Spice Adams is!”

The campaign also marks the return of Picksmas, a December-long event filled with promotions. It culminates in the “Seven Days of Picksmas,” where players receive daily prizes for creating lineups. Chip Singh, PrizePicks’ Executive Creative Director, explained the campaign’s vision: “This spot is all about celebrating NBA culture, the holiday vibe, and the pure fun of hoops. We wanted to pay homage to the original Jingle Hoops but with our own playful PrizePicks twist.”
