PrizePicks has launched a fresh collaboration with the Houston Astros, adding another MLB team to its growing partner list. The daily fantasy sports operator now holds the title of Official Daily Fantasy Partner for the Astros, marking another move to deepen its ties with baseball fans.
Good to know
PrizePicks will take a visible role at Daikin Park on game days, with branding placed around the stadium. Astros fans tuning into games will also notice PrizePicks-sponsored segments airing before each matchup on the team’s radio network. Beyond visibility, the partnership aims to get fans more involved during Monday night home games. These events will feature uniform-themed activities, allowing fans to win game tickets and cash prizes.
Mike Quigley, Chief Marketing Officer at PrizePicks, explained the motivation behind the deal. “This partnership is all about bringing more fun and bigger rewards to PrizePicks players in Houston. We’re rolling out new promotions and experiences that make following the Astros even more exciting for fans – both at the ballpark and at home.”
The deal reflects PrizePicks’ broader push to grow its reach in Major League Baseball. Last month, the operator finalized similar agreements with the Atlanta Braves, San Diego Padres, and San Francisco Giants. Each of these partnerships is designed to mix fan engagement with fantasy sports promotions, reinforcing the company’s presence in key baseball markets.
Matt Richardson, Vice President of Corporate Partnerships at the Houston Astros, said the team is excited to welcome the new partner. “We are thrilled to add PrizePicks as an official Astros partner. PrizePicks continues to invest in Major League Baseball and is committed to engaging fantasy sports fans in both a responsible and fun way.”
