NFL confirmed an agreement that designates Betcris as the league first official sports betting partner in Latin America.
The agreement grants Betcris access to league trademarks and marketing rights tied to NFL betting products. Brand exposure will also appear across league-controlled digital platforms, giving Betcris visibility alongside official NFL content.
The partnership spans Mexico, Central America, and South America, regions where NFL viewership and betting interest continue to grow.
Christopher Halpin, executive vice president and director of strategy and growth for the NFL, explained the league thinking behind the agreement.
He said:
“As our fan base continues to grow in Latin America, it was important that we partner with a trusted industry leader in the territory. Betcris capabilities in this important region, and its management team experience and commitment to the highest standards, made it clear that it was the right partner for the NFL. We look forward to working together to attract new and existing fans in these markets.”
Under the agreement, Betcris becomes the official sponsor of the 2021 NFL International Series game in Mexico. The sportsbook also takes on a presenting partner role for the NFL free to play Pick’Em game, a product aimed at fan engagement rather than real money wagering.
These placements allow Betcris to connect with fans through league-approved channels rather than standalone advertising.
The NFL deal adds to a broader sports strategy for Betcris. The company already holds a partnership with MLB and offers wagering products tied to NBA events.
