Station Casinos is ready to make its first move onto the Las Vegas Strip. Thanks to a new partnership with Treasure Island Hotel & Casino, a brand-new STN Sportsbook will soon open its doors.
Good to know
The two companies secured regulatory approval from the Nevada Gaming Commission and are gearing up for an April 29 launch. The STN Sportsbook will be located inside The Golden Circle at Treasure Island, bringing Station Casinos’ sports betting brand to the Strip for the first time.
The venue will include eight self-service kiosks, 74 high-definition screens, video walls, and mobile registration stations for bettors who want to set up accounts on the spot. Treasure Island’s Executive Vice President and General Manager, Najam Khan, shared his excitement about the deal, saying, “We could not be more excited to embark on this historic partnership with Station Casinos. This collaboration underscores our commitment to providing exceptional hospitality and entertainment, now integrated with Station Casinos’ innovative approach to sports betting.”
Station Casinos plans to introduce more than just a betting counter. The partnership brings a full STN Sports experience to Treasure Island, including exclusive contests and special sportsbook events throughout the year. Jason McCormick, Vice President of Race and Sports Operations, added, “Through this partnership with Treasure Island, we will be able to bring the energy, innovation, and hospitality of STN Sports to the property’s guests.”
While the Strip opening draws much of the attention, Station Casinos is not stopping there. Two more STN Sportsbooks are on the horizon, set to open at Casablanca Resort & Casino and Virgin River Hotel & Casino in Mesquite. Although specific opening dates for the Mesquite locations are still pending, the additions will boost Station Casinos’ sportsbook network to 19 across Nevada.
At Treasure Island, sportsbook employees will now become Station Casinos employees. Meanwhile, at the Mesquite properties, sportsbook staff will continue under the employment of Mesquite Gaming.
