Sky Racing World on Wednesday announced the inclusion of Thoroughbred racing from Abu Dhabi to its ever-expanding entertainment offering. Sky Racing World is transmitting this United Arab Emirates (UAE) track’s simulcast across North America and allowing the worldwide commingling of wagering B-pools through PGI (owned by Tabcorp).
On December 4th, the Abu Dhabi Thoroughbred racing product was successfully introduced for the HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Racing Festival, which included the Group 1 Jewel Crown won by First Classs. Their expanding offering currently includes Thoroughbred racing in Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Japan (NAR), Abu Dhabi (UAE), Singapore, Malaysia, South Africa, and Argentina for consumers in North America.
The next Abu Dhabi event will take place on Thursday, December 8th, with subsequent races scheduled for December 15th and 22nd in 2022. In 2023, races will be conducted on January 12th and 19th, as well as February 2nd, 9th, and 16th, and March 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 30th. From roughly 8 a.m. until Noon EST, these cards will be broadcast.
Win, Place, Exacta, Daily Double, Trifecta, Superfecta, Pick 3 and Pick 4 wagering types will be available, giving North American punters a multitude of ways to join in on the action with their favourite ADW. The combination of pools will increase liquidity and odds stability, making the proposition more appealing to participants.
CEO of Sky Racing World, David Haslett, commented:
“It’s with great pleasure that we announce the simulcast of Abu Dhabi Thoroughbred racing to North American punters. With this exciting addition, SRW is continuing their goal of offering users a wide variety of quality International horse racing product to experience at all times of the day.”
