Online casino and sports betting operator, Novibet, has confirmed a high-profile partnership with the 2023 Tattersalls Irish Guineas Festival.
The festival, to be held at The Curragh Racecourse in Ireland from Friday, May 26 to Sunday, May 28, features Al Riffa, Chaldean, and Paddington among the bookies’ favorites. The newly-minted partnership grants Novibet the status of the Official Betting Partner of the festival and includes the named sponsorship of six races spanning the three-day weekend. Some of these races include the Novibet Emerald Mile, Novibet Guineas Festival Premier Handicap, and a feature race.
For Novibet, this partnership marks a significant leap in their involvement with horse racing sponsorship. Karl Riley, Novibet’s Ireland Country Manager, expressed enthusiasm for this development, stating, “The Irish Guineas is a meeting which is one of the biggest in Irish Flat racing and we are very excited to be increasing our presence in this area.”
The recent opening of a new facility at Kildare, worth €81m ($87.4m), capable of accommodating up to 30,000 people, points to the growing stature of the Tattersalls Ireland Guineas Festival. Novibet, which also sponsors the three-time British Champion Jump Jockey, Brian Hughes, is poised to gain significantly from this partnership.
