Galera.bet Joins Forces with International Betting Integrity Association in Brazil

Galera.bet, a prominent sports betting brand under Match Time Solutions B.V., has become a member of the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA). With a primary focus on the Brazilian market, this move complies with the country’s new regulations. Joining the IBIA allows Galera.bet to fulfill its regulatory obligation to be part of an international body that ensures sports integrity.

This association highlights Galera.bet’s commitment to Brazilian sports. The brand is an official sponsor of Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, the Brazilian Basketball Confederation, and Brazilian 3×3 Basketball Tour. Now, it also stands with nearly 50 companies and more than 125 leading sports betting brands in IBIA.

Earlier in the year, IBIA announced its Brazilian expansion. The Brazilian government followed suit, publishing a Provisional Measure on July 25. This regulation mandates that licensed operators must join an international body that monitors sports integrity.

Why is this partnership significant? According to H2 Gambling Capital, over 60% of the Brazilian remote gambling market belongs to IBIA members. This dominance allows IBIA to analyze and deter betting-related fraud effectively. It positions IBIA uniquely to tackle match-fixing in Brazil.
