ESPN BET Launches FanCenter for Personalized Betting

Share

ESPN BET is getting ready for football season with a new feature designed to bring fans, fantasy players, and bettors together in one place. The operator, backed by PENN Entertainment, announced the launch of FanCenter, a personalized hub that links ESPN’s fantasy ecosystem with ESPN BET’s sportsbook platform.

Good to know

  • FanCenter connects directly with ESPN’s fantasy football app, allowing seamless betting.
  • The new Fantasy Bet Builder lets users place bets based on their fantasy rosters.
  • Product availability will depend on regulatory approval in the 19 states where ESPN BET is active.

FanCenter is being positioned as a personalized “For You” page within the ESPN app, letting users quickly find betting markets tailored to their favorite teams, players, or fantasy lineups. It offers access to player props, game lines, and parlay options—all curated based on what each user follows.

According to Aaron LaBerge, PENN Entertainment’s CTO and head of interactive, FanCenter marks a major step forward for the platform. “FanCenter introduces a completely new level of personalization for ESPN BET players and represents our biggest product leap yet,” he said. “It taps into our players’ fandom in smart, creative ways while connecting seamlessly with ESPN’s industry-leading fantasy football platform.”

One standout feature is the Fantasy Bet Builder, which lets users select bets based on their fantasy team and then return to managing their lineup in just a few taps. ESPN Fantasy app users can also find the new “Find a Bet” icon, linking directly to ESPN BET and allowing them to build slips around their fantasy players.

Last year, ESPN’s fantasy football app hit a record 13 million users—a huge audience that ESPN BET is now looking to engage more directly. As Mike Morrison, VP of ESPN BET and ESPN Fantasy, explained: “FanCenter is the perfect combination of fandom, fantasy, and personalized betting all wrapped into the ESPN BET betting experience.”

Through FanCenter, users will also be able to access ESPN BET’s prop bet tools, including player stats and betting trends. It will also serve as a gateway to their Mint Club accounts, PENN’s rewards program for users.

The rollout is expected soon, but the launch and specific features are still pending regulatory approval in each of the 19 U.S. states where ESPN BET operates.
