Spanish speakers who use DraftKings now get a smoother digital experience, as the operator rolls out a complete Spanish-language version of its online sportsbook and iGaming platform. The update arrives at a time when interest in betting apps among Spanish-speaking audiences continues to climb in markets across the U.S. and Ontario.
Good to Know
Many bettors have waited for a Spanish interface that feels natural instead of feeling like a translated layer. DraftKings confirms that everything in the updated Spanish version aims to give players that natural flow — from registration and navigation to betting markets, casino play, and support.
Corey Gottlieb, chief product officer at DraftKings, put the idea simply:
“Today, Spanish-speaking players represent a growing segment of DraftKings customer base. By bringing Spanish-language functionality to our best-in-class product, we’re creating a more intuitive experience for our customers and expanding our total addressable market. This is consistent with our commitment to delivering the most authentic, personalized product for everyone.”
The release begins with select regions in the U.S. and Ontario, then reaches all users over the next few weeks. Once the update goes live for a region, anyone with their device language set to Spanish sees the app switch on its own.
New customers are not left behind either — they can download a full Spanish product straight from the start, without touching any settings or language toggles.
The updated experience includes:
The Spanish-speaking customer segment continues to grow across North American betting markets. Operators that focus on language accessibility often see higher engagement and stronger retention. DraftKings remains one of the largest online operators in the U.S., ranking just below FanDuel, so a Spanish platform influences a large share of the overall betting audience.
