Comcast and DraftKings have reached an agreement to incorporate live odds into the Xfinity X1 TV interface, launching this feature in time for The Players Championship.
Named Xfinity Odds Zone, this service is scheduled to start on March 12, just before The Players Championship kicks off.
The initiative will expand to cover other sports events, such as the NCAA men’s and women’s tournaments and the NBA & NHL Playoffs. It will also be available by the beginning of the MLB and NFL seasons.
Viewers will have the opportunity to see live odds from DraftKings on their TV screens while watching sports, providing easy access to betting information and the ability to place wagers using the DraftKings Sportsbook app.
To place bets, viewers can scan a QR code which will add their selected bet to a DraftKings betslip on their smartphone, allowing them to complete the transaction there.

This announcement follows DraftKings’ recent move to introduce its mobile sportsbook in North Carolina today, Monday, March 11, ahead of the official commencement of legal sports betting in the state
