The Chicago Sky have entered into a new partnership with bet365, becoming the fifth WNBA team to collaborate with a sportsbook. This multi-year agreement marks a fresh chapter for both the Sky and bet365, especially as sports betting continues to grow across the U.S.
Good to know
With the partnership now official, bet365 will gain brand exposure across several areas of the Wintrust Arena. The logo will appear under both baskets, behind one end of the court, on digital signage, and on the team’s social media channels. It will also show up during live broadcasts and on promotional materials.
Before this deal, only five WNBA teams had formal sportsbook partnerships: Phoenix Mercury (Bally Bet), Washington Mystics (Caesars), New York Liberty (FanDuel), Connecticut Sun (FanDuel), and Las Vegas Aces (BetMGM). The Sky now join that group, adding more visibility to sports betting within the league.
A bet365 spokesperson described the collaboration as a milestone, calling it “the perfect opportunity for our expansion into the WNBA.” The brand also highlighted plans to introduce its “Never Ordinary” betting experience to Sky fans.
Sky’s leadership welcomed the move. According to Alex Teodosi, vice president of corporate partnerships, the team sees the agreement as a way to support WNBA growth while encouraging responsible betting. “We look forward to bringing great new sports betting opportunities to Sky fans,” Teodosi said.
Bet365, based in the U.K., is already licensed to operate in 13 U.S. states. In September, it established its American headquarters in Denver, Colorado, as part of its broader U.S. strategy. The sportsbook is also part of the Sports Betting Alliance, a lobbying group that includes FanDuel, BetMGM, DraftKings, and Fanatics.
