The upscale Caribbean resort Baha Mar is growing its portfolio with a well-known new alliance. The resort and tennis legend John McEnroe have partnered, ushering in an exciting new era. From December 12-15, Baha Mar will host its fifth-annual Baha Mar Cup, which will also serve as the inaugural event at the John McEnroe Tennis Center. This event promises to bring top-tier tennis action to the Caribbean, with McEnroe making a special appearance at a welcome party on December 13. The celebration will feature a performance by the Johnny Smith Band, setting the tone for the exciting days to come.

The John McEnroe Tennis Center at Baha Mar is equipped with eight courts, including six professional-grade hard courts and two Har-Tru clay courts. In addition, the facility features six pickleball courts, catering to a growing interest in the sport.
Baha Mar plans to roll out a variety of tennis programs and clinics for players of all skill levels. Whether you’re a beginner or an aspiring champion, there will be opportunities to enhance your game through private lessons or resort tennis packages. Alongside tennis greats Andy Roddick, James Blake, and Taylor Townsend, McEnroe will participate in the Baha Mar Cup, which will also benefit the Mark Knowles Children’s Tennis Initiative and the Baha Mar Resort Foundation. All proceeds will support tennis promotion in the Bahamas, ensuring the sport’s expansion and advancement in the area.
