Crypto.com Becomes FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ Official Sponsor

Another big move in the world of sports partnerships by cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com as it announced on Tuesday that it will be an official sponsor of the 2022 FIFA World Cup held in Qatar.

The deal will expose the brand all around the tournament’s venue as well as inside the stadium and on broadcasting. The 2022 FIFA World Cup will kick off November 21 and end on December 18 with the Final match being played.

As part of its official sponsorship, the exchange will offer opportunities for new and existing users to attend matches during the World Cup or win exclusive merchandise.

Crypto.com has been making a name for itself recently by kicking off multiple mega partnership deals. In June 2021, Crypto.com signed $175 million deal with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). The exchange had already secured a $100  million deal with Formula One Racing and in November of last year it purchased naming rights to the historic Staples Center in Los Angeles, in a deal worth $700 million, which is now rebranded to “Crypto.com Arena.”

Just this year, the exchange brought NBA Legend Lebron James on board to be the firms new face joining Matt Damon in the ‘Fortune Favors the Brave’ advertisement campaign.
