The Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA), the only organization authorized to offer online sports betting in the province, saw a successful launch of its PlayNow online casino in late 2022 or early 2023. The platform attracted over 15,000 users, and PlayNow reported profitability in its first fiscal year, according to SIGA's annual report for 2022–2023.
